Exhibition Introduction
From January to April 2026, new energy passenger vehicles in China gained approximately 420 kilograms compared to 2020, making lightweighting a core constraint in vehicle development. The application of magnesium alloys is accelerating, ultra-high-strength steel has achieved mass production at 1500 MPa and technological breakthroughs at 2000 MPa, carbon fiber composites are seeing cost reductions, and multi-material hybrid designs and integrated die-casting have become competitive focal points. The ATC Shanghai International Automotive Lightweight Technology Exhibition 2027 will grandly open at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) in Shanghai, China from June 3 to 5, 2027. Exhibits cover metal and non-metal materials, molds, testing equipment, lightweight body system components, and lightweight parts, bringing together global industry leaders and R&D centers to build an ecosystem platform spanning the entire industry chain.
